Make another Richard Burns, and I'll start paying attention.

Glad to see the McRae family let them keep the name in the series.

QFT!!

i tried dirt and it just felt so fake. When i played RBR, i would seriously feel my heart beating like crazy when i would be sliding through the forest.... the physics were just soo amazing. RBR still gives modern race games a huge run for their money even though it lacks in its visuals.

nevermind all that. just release the code or whatever for rbr so that someone could make a random stage generator. and a nice online structure. im imagining somthing where you join a lobby and everybody races one at a time. everybody else gets to watch your run. everyone goes, then we do the next stage. rinse, repeat.

of course there could be all sorts of options with a random track generator in multiplayer. "only stages under 2km" maybe. maybe an option to make the community chat (smack talk) visible during your run. or perhaps cumulative points instead of time, so you dont get boned if you total your car on the first stage. "3 drink minimum" lobbys, for the social rally'ers. hell there could be a whole drinking game there. "drink when he rolls it! "if you finish your run perfectly clean, finish your drink"

*sigh*

If they corrected the physics (which weren't THAT bad) I'm sold.

all i remember was the pc demo and it was horrible. you could be going flat out in 6th gear and tap on your brakes and be completely stopped. Now im sure real rally cars have impressive brakes but that was just ridiculous. Not to mention, there was just something screwy with the steering. Im not sure how to describe it other than it wasnt realistic... AT ALL.

no, its too bad you only drive a 2.5i, then you wouldn't neet that silly steering wheel and clutch to make you feel like you drive a fast car.
