Default rpm spike when coming to a stop

my rpms will shoot up from 700ish to 1200ish when I am coming to a stop...then fall back down to the 700 idle...??

No other spikes ever which rules out a vacuum leak right?

hahahahaha, my car does this. I had a brake booster leak, and fixed that. But it still does it, just less.

I assumed it was due to my MAF being down behind the foglight for my rotated setup.

What is it? Auto or stick?

If it's auto it might do that every once in awhile. My prelude did that.

Other possibility is a bad torque convertor if you launch the car while pressing the brake pedal.

I don't have a clue what it is if its a stick.
