need help

i have a 2008 impreza 5 door and im wanting to put a turbo on. i cant seem to find any where to get the turbo or information on what else needs to be done to my engine it has the 2.5i so if any one can help please let me know

You do know that you're gonna have to build the motor first to handle that turbo right? Why did you buy an N/A car to turbo when there was a turbo version available....

I would look towards suspension mods. The amount of money that it will cost you to upgrade to turbo and supporting it is not worth IMO. Throwing on some decent springs, shocks, and sways would make that car a fun ride.

^^ I def agree. On a 2.5i, go with suspension mods. Getting a turbo would be expensive. If you do it, you would probably blow your motor (almost all stock block n/a 2.5 turbo's do). Any powertrain/drivetrain problem you had would not be covered under warranty either.

If you want a turbo, trade it in for a wrx. Seriously. It will cost less in the long fun for sure. And you get the other goodies, too.

The N/A 2.5 ltr engine isn't the same as the WRX 2.5 ltr engine. There is a reason that you can't find the info...

There are some older turbo kits around because back before 2002 Subaru didn't import the WRX. With the factory version available the kits just died off.
