Good to see you got it all sorted out. Do you by chance still have the skunk2 mid pipe that came with your catback?

I've still got the skunk 2 midpipe.

Yep the ball joint / tie rod issue is resolved; thanks again for pointing that out. I believe I've also sorted out my IC questions after several failed attempts. I tried the Ver3 but it was too big to fit between the TB and the firewall. I found a few threads after I bought it that basically said it wouldn't fit...

While the Ver 2 slanty will work, I didn't like the plastic feedpipe. AVO does sell an alloy feedpipe, but it only fits the Ver 1/2 STi TMIC, and it is very pricey, not to mention I'd need a Ver 1/2 STi TMIC, so I picked up a Ver 1/2 STi slanty with an alloy feedpipe off of eBayUK for around $70 (if my Pound to Dollar conversion is correct). My IC selection process has been worse than a woman trying to pick out a pair of shoes to go to Burger King.

Still waiting on the Link G4, which is coming from overseas... it must be on the slowest boat made in China.

Nope, still waiting on the Link G4. Last I heard it was held up in customs. They probably think it is an IED or maybe a dirty bomb - government tax dollars at work. I did convert the passenger door to power locks, but that's about it. I'm changing the interior trim from a mix of gray/black to all black. The dash pieces arrived tonight, but I'm still looking for a black center console and a/b/c pillars. I expect the Ver 2 STi TMIC later this week provided it doesn't suffer the same fate as the EM system.

The waiting has allowed plenty of time to prep the STi for this weekend's Texas Mile. Off topic, but the STi is stripped of all drag sources that can be removed, C16 loaded and ready to run.

great looking build. cant wait til you get her running. just my guess, but i'd put money on you liking this car better than the sti...if for no other reason than you built it from the ground up. again, nice work.

I won't argue with that. I can't wait to get it running. The Ver 2 STi TMIC arrived today. For the life of me I don't know what the deal is with the Link G4 delay, but I'm frustrated to say the least. The car has been sitting for weeks waiting on the last piece of the puzzle.

As for the STi, it was built for an entirely different purpose - speed. After this weekend I'm still lovin it. I managed to run a 182mph at the Texas Mile and now I'm trying to figure out what is needed to break the 190mph barrier. I should have a video up in the Proven Power Forum shortly.

I've done a few things and will post some pictures this weekend. There was a shipping error on the G4 so I should see it next week. I broke down and bought some Enkei RPF1s and BFG KDWs that Ill put on this weekend. I put a hard turbo feed pipe on the IC and a Link IAT sensor and fixed the broken Keyfob button so I could program another remote.

Finished re-installing the dash. I'm switching from the black and gray mix to all black. I'm still waiting on a center console and A/B/C pillars.

I picked up a Ver 1/2 Splitter, but with the Ver 3 hood, it wouldn't fit without some modifications. I drilled a few holes in the splitter to match the hood scoop bolts and a few self tapping screws for the spots that didn't mate up to the scoop bolts.

I've had the JDM tails since last summer and just got around to putting them on.

Lastly, I removed the stocker 5 spoke goldies and put on the Enkei RPF1s wrapped in BFG KDW's.

Thanks!

I decided to check the alignment today (toe and thrust angle) and made a few adjustments to the front. The rear was good. This will get me through startup, road testing and possibly tuning depending on my work schedule.

I followed this thread...http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1093484 It took a about an hour to measure and make the minor adjustments to the front tires.

FINALLY!

I've got to go through the pinouts and figure out how to wire in the LC-1 data stream so I can datalog AFRs during startup (hopefully this weekend).

While I'm going to run this on my STi, I thought I'd show off the oil filter Chris at Engine Logics designed...BALLS!!!! Reusable filter with a lifetime warranty and superb craftsmanship!

No need to replace the element. Wash it and re-use it.

Very nice. I actually like the silver bumper, I think that was an actual color combination for the Outback Sport too.

Keep up the good work!

^ Thanks. I hate to say this, especially when this one's still under construction, but I'd like to do another one on down the road.

I should have the adjusted base map Friday and looking to start it Saturday. I didn't get the analog input loom (for the Link Map, WB and IAT, but it's on the way). This is actually a cool feature of the Link G4 plug-in...there is a connector plug on the ECU board that allows you to solder in the appropriate wires for the 2.5bar MAP, IAT and WB and simply plug the loom into the connector and viola analog inputs FTW.

In order to get my WB readings into the PCLink software I have to improvise and splice into the harness on the O2 sensor pinout. The Link manual has the V1/2 pinouts listed, so it should be fairly straight forward. This will be a temporary setup until the loom arrives so I'll probably just posi-tap the wire vs. cutting and soldering. The last thing I want to do is hack up Zephyr's wiring work.
