I dont know if this has been posted, but theres currently a bill that their trying to pass in congress to ban modifications to cars. I thought it was funny and dumb for them to even consider passing this bill. Some of the stuff on here is just ridiculuos. Thought you guys might find this interesting.

I like that the car list includes the Mini Cooper. Ha! I think they forgot to mention any civic ever made if you want to get into the nitty gritty of modifying cars. Yeah. That would be hard to make happen.
Lol that the chrysler crossfire is there. That has to be some senator going "Well I test drove a car that was simply too much for me..." |

I hate to say it, but they appear to have done their homework. However, this seems a bit absurd: Quote:

I only posted it because a guy brought this into my job a few days ago. After researching it a little more, I think you guys are right. The 115th Congress won't be in session until 2017 if i'm correct. And also cant find it anywhere else.

They've basically named almost all cars above 200hp to be illegal... This bill would never become a law... Good luck explaining this bill to the citizen as to why their daily driving civic is illegal...

Lol nice hoax. Would've been 10x more awesome if the Veyron was included in that list.
Miata and Civic gave me a laugh. |
