Taking delivery...
In two weeks I'll have my 09 WRX 5-door...I've already put a deposit on it and will pick it up after turkey day. I'm so excited I can't see straight. I figured after living in NYC for 8 years, it's time to get back to my so.cal roots and get myself a sports car. So, a few questions for all of you well-versed folks out there... Wheelset. I'm looking to go 18 - something light and around $225 a wheel. Is this possible? I've checked discount tire and tire rack, are there any others? Can someone recommmend a nice light, inexpensive (not cheap) wheelset? I was thinking ssr, or enkei... Tuner parts. Ok, who is the best tuner in terms of workmanship and reliability of aftermarket parts? SPT? Cobb? Is there a difference? Eventually, I'd like to put a cat-back intake and re-map the ecu... I'm sure I'll have more questions, but this is a start. Thanks, all! Can't wait to start carving canyons again...and getting involved in the community.

rota is a popular brand of wheel around here, usually priced at $650 or $700. There is no "best" tuner part company, but moreso a few really awesome ones, and the things that start to distinguish them aren't the quality of the product. Things like warranties, customer service, if it's an exhaust how it sounds, speed of reply, things of that nature. Search around the site and you will find oodles of good brand names like cobb, invidia, bpm etc. Also if you are getting an intake and a tune, I'd suggest just going full turboback exhaust to get the most out of the tune. Definitely not needed but personally I would just slap it on if you're getting tuned anyways.
