Default 99 impreza wagon vs 2.5RS

1 thing which I always wonder is...

do the 99 impreza wagon got the same chassis as that yr's 2.5RS?

Other than that, how about those suspension components?

All suspension that fits on a 98-01 RS will fit on your wagon.

What I mean is... if I jsut get a 99 Impreza wagon, and a 2.5RS, let say forget about the engine & the look of the car, what needs to be done to make it become a 2.5RS Wagon? (With 2.5RS's handleing, and performance)

a 2.5 liter engine would be a good start.

I have
an ej20k
Sti tranny
R180
Sti control arms
RS sway bars
RS hood
RS bumpers, side skirts, aero guards
Sti gauges
Sti front and rear seats
etc. etc.

It seems to all fit quite well.

About the only things that don't fit are sedan spoilers, trunk lids and rear windsheilds.

^^^ you should get some bigger sway bars. Stock RS ones can be bent with your forearm.

There is nothing different about any GC/GF Impreza other than superficial differences. Even the rear bumpers fit each other to my knowledge.

In fact, I think the Japanese coupes are even considered GC8s rather than GM-anythings.

It all bolts straight on up aside from the obvious.

Oh yeah, +1, get some bigger dern swaybars You know you want tooooo. STi and STi-RA bits are nice...the HX scored the latter, handles like it's on rails as a result.
