Default WRX SPT Cat-back for my 07 2.5i Wagon (?)

Hello folks!

I need help. I bought a used SPT cbe (made by Bosal) from somebody who had them for a year on an 06 WRX.

I tried installing them on my wagon... hangers align pretty well. However, there's about an inch (or two) gap between the flange of the midpipe and the cbe.

Does anybody out there know what I can do to finish the install without going to the muffler shop?

Thanks!

thanks for the prompt reply... I might end up doing that if I don't find a quick fix without chopping the SPT cbe Looks too nice.

I'd rather sell it again and just go look for an oem sti cbe. I read somewhere that it bolts right on.

I'll probable have the axle back chopped... lets me switch back to stock if I get tired of the loud exhaust.

Default yea

i knew you didnt understand its ok dude. axle back has no need to be chopped. your cat back has two pieces yea? the muffler with attatched pipe the goes to a flange and then the mid pipe yes? the axle back is just the muffler section up to the flange. you can change that yourself its just those two blots and a new gasket.

its the mid pipe that needs to be motified if you want to use it. it will need to be extended to reach the cat section.

but like ive been telling you the axle back is bolt on.

Got it now... had to find a diagram of the impreza exhaust system to educate myself on the individual parts.

Thanks a lot for the help!
