Unhappy Rust in my muffler... why?

For reasons I don't wish to disclose i can't drive my car until January. For the last few weeks I pretty much followed what Unibomber's article advised on what to do when the car sits for a few months- topped the fuel tank, put stabilizer in, I used to start it twice but now just once a week for 15-20 min and keep battery discconected in between, the oil is only 600mi fresh, but its "summer" (10w-30) oil though, I don't worry about cold starts becaue it never gets below 40 on coldest winter nights in the garage where the car sits.
The problem is my maganflow muffler or the catback pipe is rusting because there is yellow residue inside muffler tip, and after the starts there is water pooled in the muffler. I revved the engine(when its heated) to blow some water out of exhaust pipes and it has that rust in it. The maganflow muffler is said to be stainless steel and the catback pipe is aluminized, where is the rust coming from?
Is it rusting because the car is not driven and all that water from condensation is not being blown off combined with aluminzed piping? The muffler and the aluminized pipe are luckily under warranty, so if I get them replaced when I start driving again does the new catback awaits the same "rusty" fate or should I pay a little more to get stainless steel pipe?

We also have Corrola sitting with no driver for more then a few month, there is no rusty water coming from that, embarrasing my shiny maganflow muffler which spits out rusty water out.

After water being blowned out of exhaust, evaporates

Can see water pulled inside muffler

you answered your own question. stainless steel piping + muffler is less likely to rust but any exhaust will rust if all you do is let your car idle in the driveway. it needs to be DRIVEN plain and simple

If you can't get the oil up to operating temp (driven 8-10miles), don't even start the car at all.
