Default Gauging interest in new bundles

Hey Guys -

Tony and I got to talking. As we all know the economy sucks right now. This puts a huge damper on the fun time goodies that folks can get for their scoobies. BUT at the same time those scoobies have to get folks to work so everyone can at least go on hoping the economy will get better.

As part of those scoobies getting us to work we know that a number of GC/GM and bugeyes out there are in need or regular maintenance items.

We were kicking around the idea of putting together some kits. Something along the lines of 30K, 60K, 90K and 120K checkup kits so you can get everything that you need (with some of the bits nicely upgraded) in one package.

I'm throwing this idea out there to gauge interest, and see if that's something everyone thinks is worthwhile. Let us know.

-Clint

Are you talking about oem parts, like timing belt, filters, water pump, plugs, etc?

OEM when there's nothing any better (ie water pump). Upgraded when it's available.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm in the process of assembling 60k items right now, and have bought filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, and trans fluid from a few online vendors and auto retailers. If it was a package on your site that would make it easier (and probably cheaper, too).

G R E A T idea. One stop shopping is a great idea for many of us who have to go to nine different stores. My idears:

Use Peak Global as a universal fluid. Ship the full strength stuff to reduce costs vs. 50/50.
Use Gates belts from NAPA as they are cheaper than OEM and Gates is the OEM maker.
