Still idle boostin'

Default Tires too tall?

I might be picking up some wheels - 17x8 RPF1s with 245/45/17's on them. Anyone running tires that tall? Thoughts? Pics would be cool if you've got em. Thanks all.

That's way oversized. Use a tire size calculator next time?


The diameter difference is 4.17% and you'll be going 4.3% slower (57.5mph when speedo reads 60mph)

You're better off using 225/45/17 or 235/40/17. I would get 225/45/17 though

245/40 is better or 235/40

no sense in using a 225/45 on an 8" wide wheel

and if those wheels arent the +45...skip them
