Default Heffner Performance and Camilo Pardo reveal

Quote:
The name Heffner Performance is well known for the tuning of very high performance specialized cars. Credited as having effectively modified Ford GT and Lamborghini Gallardo’s for extra performance, the Heffner crew sought to enlarge their series by joining with Camilo Pardo, the world famous artist and Ford GT chief designer, for a special edition Ford GT. The merger of these two special talents has provided for one of the most coveted Ford GT supercars ever created. In 2006, Camilo Pardo met Jason Heffner when his first all-white 2005 GT was modified by Heffner Performance.

Having had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the original twin turbo GT vehicles, Camilo right away declared it as “the baddest GT I’ve ever been in.” It did not linger before they began talking about a joint effort, as each wanted to bring the GT to a whole new level of performance and design excellence

Ford GT has received the Heffner Twin Turbo system which is already proven on the road as well as the racetrack. Even as the vehicle preserves all its production handling, performance was demonstrated to be alien at the opening Car and Driver 0-200-0 shootout.

Producing over 900hp, the system has been shown to attaine 200 mph from standstill in less than 19 seconds, logging in excess of 150 mph in the quarter mile. One of the few outsiders to ever see the interior of the Ford testing grounds in Dearborn, MI, the Heffner Twin Turbo was an immediate success with many of the team members who designed the initial supercar. In the CAmilo Edition, the fundamentals have stayed the same, but this special edition highlights an all-new, Camilo-developed billet aluminum intake.

The car highlights a number of main artistic enhancements the developer had sought to include from the factory including
  • Exclusive Roundel and Number Graphics
  • Heritage racing-motivated paint finish
  • Flat black BBS wheels
  • Classic Design Concepts’ treatment of the rear bumper in the style of a concept car
  • Black-lip mirrors
  • Seat grommets made of aluminum
  • Shift ball made of chrome
  • Lasercut door trim rings provided by OEM supplier Quality Metalcraft
  • Broad-shaft shifter
  • Wrinkle black valve covers
  • Flat black gas cap and door latches
  • T&A Shocks height reduction
  • Shiny exhaust tips
  • Brembo caliper graphics
These embody subtle revisions that Camilo Pardo believed was sufficient to convert the car into a more ultramodern, race-motivated appearance. By any means, the aesthetic skills of Camilo have elevated this vehicle to a whole new level. It is an arresting car on the street, maintaining the elegance of the GT but with an intensity that screams out for swiftness. The Camilo Edition Heffner Performance TT GT also comes with a Setrab transmission cooler for extra performance improvement.

Don't know about that - lots of debate going on about Heff's quality these days - Underground Racing seems to be the new "it" tuner for 1K HP Gallardos.

hmm i wasn't aware Heffner rolled like that. I AM familiar with UGR, their work is top notch. I've seen their TT Gallardo and Viper builds. absolutely sick..cut above the rest.
