I'm in the fence whether to strip all these wood grain look and just paint them all in black. any suggestions?

Strip the wood.. Either paint black or do Carbon Fiber overlay.. just my opinion though.. looks like you have a brand new Forester.. Wood Grains belong in some cars but not in a WRX. Nice effort tho

I also have de-badged the rear to just "wrx".
Old but where would one find the I front emblem in the big gh/gh size? I've asked in other places but always get "eBay", but they're 02-07 and way smaller IIRC

Either 18x9 rota dpt's or volks, I bet dpt since its a home done matte black. I'd say 2-3 inches, rolled fenders so no rubbing, bouncy and stiff, coilovers, probably from Import Image.

I'm not sure if it's the one you are looking for but I think Subaru makes/sells an 'I' badge for the 08+ chassis. I thought I saw one at a local Subaru dealership in the parts department and in the accessories brochure.

I don't think so, do you have a source part no for that? I know lots of dealers do get some of the JDM stuff in.

I only doubt because the "model branding" i.e. The "F" "L" and "i" stuff is distinctly JDM.

If you have the "sport grille" it uses the old style badge size, and then you can use the "i" badge.

Don't know if anyone on here might know it, but I have some part number requests:
OEM 2011 WRX driver's door & passenger's door arm rests. <- leather with red stitching
OEM 2011 STI Limited center console lid. <- leather with red stitching

he has a DIY but it was done with LED halo/circle lights and i believe he hardwired them into the stock wire housing but he said you could also install using independent switches

DIY on 3gwrx.com hardwired on a seperate switch, they come on with the halos in the headlights. Relatively simple

I can't find it online at the moment. I'll check where I saw it next time I'm in the dealership and see what I can come up with.

instead of the plate being stolen they should have taken a razor to the window stickers.

I have the blue lights as well and some of my friends hated on the blue. They said that I should of got red. But they don't understand that the little cubby light came blue and I wanted to match that. And if I got red it would be to much red in the car.

It's too late now, but the STI comes with red in cubby. You can swap it in for yours and have them all match red. That's what I did.

As no one ever answered this question: The rear fog lamp switch is on the signal stalk. It's an extra "click" up from the front fogs. Thing is, it's spring loaded, so the switch returns to the front fog position once you turn on the rear fog. In order to make it work on a car that didn't come with it you would have to get the switch and a latching relay setup.

I've got the switch (from Latvia) and the lamp (from Israel). Once I wire up the relays I'll finally be putting it in the car. Need to do it before the winter sets in.

There is a great how-to on 3gwrx.com. One for signals and another for power-fold. You can't see the signals in that video, but they are there.

Can't seem to get the video to embed. Sorry.
