boost gauge is easy as far as i can say... waiting to do my oil pressure gauge which just entails taking off the IC... but the car has to be completely cooled down for that, which i haven't had time to do. if you're not 100% confident on wiring it does take a great deal longer

Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong (and I hope I am), but don't:

these gauges + curtain airbags = painful novelty face mounted gauges

in the event of someone driving into the side of you?

Also, saw somewhere on here (buggered if I can find it) where someone had some really nice red piping around their grille (ala Golf GTI). I thought it looked very money, anyone know how it's done?

i know most people do it with vinyl pin-striping. pretty cheap from an autoparts shop, just a few mins to install.

and i think i read somewhere that the airbags deploy between the bottom of the trim piece and the a pillar frame, so the airbag would push the trim up towards the windshield, making the installation of gauges not affect the airbags at all... plus, the airbags are only in the top 1/3-1/2 of the a piller trim, so they don't get in the way.

the airbags inflate between the headliner and the pillar. so no chance for a projectile.
