Default Help me choose the right tire!

Hey everyone,
So I'm about to buy some rims, Rota Tarmac 3, 18x8. I need help choosing the right tire size, and tire. Ive been looking at the Kumho Ecsta AST. They've got pretty good reviews for high performance all season tires and they aren't that pricey, witch is what I need because I go snowboarding a lot, but I also do a lot of driving in regular conditions (no snow). Any help would be amazing .

Thanks,
-Ian

i suggest 235s in the regular conditions.. you'd want smaller for snow though

I trust the test of the tirerack staff more then any reviews from actual users. The testing of the Kumho in question says it has good steering response, but could use better dry and much better wet grip improvement. If you could live with an american branded tire, the BF goodrich G-force supersport A/S is better period. I would go with 225/40/18.
Regardless, I would be not to raise the car with an inappropriate size, be careful.

Those tires (BF goodrich G-force supersport A/S) sound amazing, but the cost is really high. Anything else?

It does not make sense to buy wheels only to be unable to afford good tires. Follow Uncle Scotty suggestion.

Kumho tires have a better rating then a lot of the big name brands, Its not that there not good tires, it's that I want something different then Kuhmos.
