I would crack 6 on a Dynojet. 575 on a soul crushing DD.

Dasani was close with his TSR70 w/ 1.06. i should say this was on a heartbreaker dyno but any other dyno probably would of been right at or over.
he ran 10.5 @13x mph IIRC

Last edited by stickman; 11-27-2008 at 09:35 PM. Reason: should be 10.5 not 11's

What boost were you running to get 575?
Is that on an 07 STI?
Have you run it down the 1/4 yet? if so what ET & MPH?

Thanks mick

504WHP @ 22PSI on 91 + meth
574WHP @ 25PSI on 109 + meth

For reference, stock STI's put down, on average, 205-210WHP on this particular dyno.

No 1/4 miles slips, likely not ever. The car was built for a track with turns and I don't want to beat the crap out of my car launching it.

My car made 540whp on one of the lowest reading Mustang dyno's in the US.

That would equate to 650+whp on a typical DynoJet.

The car has ran 10.42@137.46mph in full street trim (leather, navigation, stereo, 18inch wheels, etc).

Here is a link to all the information on the car: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1545763

+1 this car is making well over 600whp to be trapping 137.XX

BTW, for those that have not read the info on this car and seen all the pics, take the time. Possibly one of the nicest and best built street cars on here.
AWESOME CAR!

the tsr70 is essentially a modified gt35r there is no way that it makes close to 100-150 more whp than a standard gt35r all things being equal... this is simply incorrect information.

its also important to note for the op that at these power levels, block and head modifications play an important role in the overall output, not just the turbo itself.

yes you will need the 1.06 hotside.

also i dont know if you have money to burn, the aps kit is great no question, but there are much cheaper and equally effective ways to get over 600whp. i've been in a tsr70 legacy, and i was really dissapointed.

heres a couple threads that may be of interest...

I think the tsr70 flows 5lbs a minute more then a 35r and thats the standard .82ar hotside. Im not sure if it flows anymore with a bigger hotside.

For the price you could just go with a hta 35r and save money. There are plenty of people on here that would go on forever about how much they hate the APS TSR70 kit.

Squashman's TSR70 is easily into the 600whp range. That dyno is extremely low reading. Throw that thing on the bro-dyno and it will crack 700whp no problem.

The reason for me asking this question is because I have basically the same setup as Dasanis car, cosworth long block bla bla bla, but I am running with a buschur fs635 turbo and it is putting down 622 whp at 28 psi. ,with a very restrictive cobb 3 inch turbo out exhaust that is being changed to a aps 3 1/2 inch as I am typing this, on a dyno-dynamics dyno. I thought that I would have to sleeve the motor running this kind of power but I see Dasanis car is not sleeved. So my question is do I need to sleeve?

I have dissambled a tsr70 and a gt35 r and there are THE SAME TURBO, regarding compressor or turbine wheels, even compressor housing is the same, the change is the rear housing being twin scroll

Please stop bull****!
