I think it's some random 15 year old daydreaming. Anyone serious about 500whp or 1000whp would know at least a little or have a pile of cash to drop off at a tuner.

Really? Nice! I have to find those cams lol.
I just wish cams would be cheaper for subies. A price similar to Brian Crower cams would be good. Everything else is around $1,000.

These are the most aggressive cams I could find for a subaru.
sound almost like my custom kelfords...just durations are slightly different.

Just about to receive my new dual AVCS cams from Kelford. They're the 272 type that will go with my built 2.5 and Full Race 40 kit. Ive been waiting nearly 1 year for these so I'm very excited.

OP, there's no real answer to your question since cams can come in a custom grind. 280/280 isn't all that bad but you'll need the headwork, though I don't know that you'll see many people running cams period since bang for the buck wise, when you factor in the cost of installation you have to ask yourself if that money is worth it over accepting a bigger turbo with another few hundred rpm of lag
I'm sorry but you're completely off basis here. Go look at the last couple of threads/comments he's posted. They're rude and seemingly meant to irk people on this forum. So I like many spot a troll. I just hope this guy gets the ban stick.

Best cams as of right now = GSC. GSC S1 for up to 500 hp and S2 for 500+.

On topic now........

I would choose the GSC S2 cams for my build, they show a significant improvement throughout the powerdband and prob the best to date thus far.

I went with custom ground Kelford 280/276 Non AVCS (shimless buckets). I don't think Kelford makes a 280 exhaust cam, or is willing too.

I know kelford makes a drag cam for methonal race engines, which is 282/282. I bet that sounds absolutely nasty, however probably isn't best suitable for the street.

The GSC cams look good. I'd like to see them tested against comparable Tomei cams, because honestly, I couldn't be happier with mine. Always nice to have options.

kevin ban at kelford makes great cams for our car.think about it --subarus are a major high hp car in that part of the world and I would not doubt that the Rigolis might do some business with kelford.whata ya think mate.

Not sure if Rigoli uses Kelford as hes very hush about his specs. He's definately a pioneer in Subaru performance though and has been leading the way from mid 90's when they were huge in Australia.

I've heard of both Cosworth and Kelford's not working as advertised.....meaning there was something wrong on the grinds on them.

Heard nothing but praises about GSC's.

Cheaper? It may be due to the fact that we have 4 cams? Not 2 like other turbo 4 cylinders.
