Default Help me pick a fuel controller

right now im running my 96 impreza as a GF6, swaped a EJ22 out for the EJ25 DOHC engine.

i ran it on the dyno about 2 weeks ago and found that my A/F is around 11:1 when i should be up in the 13:1's. so since i work at a subie wrecking yard i grabbed a MY98 2.5 5sp ECU and tossed it in, 4CEL's but it does pull a little smoother, but does have a little hick up in it in low RPM's.

when I'm running the 2.2 ecu that was with my car originally i had no CEL's but it was running really fat.

so my question, I've heard good and bad things with the PP6, not many shops can tune it, and its rather crude in some ways, but for $200 used or $500 new it isn't too bad on the wallet.

i was also considering a Apex-I AFC, a lot of the import shops can tune with it, they are very cheap, >$100 used, and i have installed A LOT of them into cars over the years and understand how they work and what they do to work.

i just need something that i can use to run with my 2.2 ECU to lean out the A/F's from 4,500rpms -6Krpms.

so if anyone has any help it would be appreciated.
