Here is a link to a writeup of last years Hyper meet.

http://www.importtuner.com/events/07...eza/index.html

I know there is probably more info out there. I also believe last year you could pay to drive on the track, but only for a couple hours early in the morning that was it, because after that all the shop cars were on the track for the shoot out.

besides the financial issue, are you finding that there are parts that are better performance wise than what we are getting in the states. what about tuning over there... are there any advantages of living in japan for our STI's???

tks, i have heard enough, grin. i have already heaviliy modified my sti, so another 20k just to drive her in japan, is 20k jess going into her when i get back... i just figured that i could get some perks from living in japan. guess it on to plan "b". buy parts there if i like them build the engine in japan, install and tune her in the states. being that i will be coming to misawa i figure a good tuning will be a good drive to find. thanks for the info.

phife

by the way, as i am interested in upgrading the pistons and rods, i was wondering what your opinion on brands for stock bore ej257 sti block would be. hp goal is @ 600.
