Default DIY Hood scoop delete, take 2

Here's the one I made last time before the k-s tech delete was available for the 06-07:






Now I wanted to do something different, so here are the inprogress pics:





Started this time with making a plexiglass insert

Then made a metal insert instead of a mesh:






Now I started putting it all together:








jb-weld is drying for a while, so hopefuly I'll get this done soon

I did the same with my hood scoop delete. added a plexi cut out underneath the grill so rain and snow wouldnt come through

this looks sweet i like the louvers idea. i wish subaru made a stock hood say for the 2.5i that was vented instead of just scoopless and scoop

Well i live in wisconsin where we get Feet of snow in the winter and i have a fmic so yeah i got my delete so i wouldnt get a pound of snow on my pipes in the winter.

well, here's how far I got today:






3m sealant is taking a lot longer to dry than I thought. Probably cus it's 40 deg in my garage. But buy tomorrow it should be good. Then some light sanding to even everything out then some paint (black for now so I can test durability) and it's done
