Default Need help making my car legal!!!

HELPPPPPPP!!!! Need some help from you guys.... I got popped today by a local chp. He had me pop my hood and spent 10min. checkin everything out. Came back to my window and told me i need to get an intake with the carb sticker and exhaust. Long story-short, he gave me a warning but the s.o.b. only let me go bc he always parks infront of my house. So he's gonna pull me over in a couple weeks to see if i fixed me stuff..... ok.... now my question. I literally just bought( but havnt recieved yet) a APS 70MM CAI because my current INJEN CAI isnt running well with my DOM3. DOES THE APS 70MM CAI COME WITH A C.A.R.B. STICKER. And if not, will the SPT INTAKE or PRODRIVE (Intakes that are C.A.R.B. approved) follow as much air as the APS 70MM CAI or enough to allow my DOM3 to run comfortably

Yup, people sell them. The others(aem, injen,etc..) are NOT 70mm.

Yeah i kinda want to not get myself in a deeper hole. The chp guy was stupid but i dont think stupid enough to buy the whole " carb certified MASSIVE 70MM INTAKE" bit. Anyhow i just got the intake issue settled but i need to know if i took my car to a chp station would they write me out something that ok'd my cars exhaust if it passed and was under the noise limit?

why not just slap the stock intake back in for him to look at and be done?

If not, pick up an AEM or SPT

Of course i have exhaust and yeah its slammed. One of the 1st things he asked was if i had an intake. For some reason that was the most important thing for him to check for. I was straight with him too. I wasnt going to lie because i had a feeling he was going to ask to see under the hood regardless. But ive talked with city cops and they all say my car isnt loud enough to warrent getting a ticket for, even though im catless.

There's no way you can get your car to become street legal with all of those emission equipments removed, and heavily modified like that. If you want to make it legal, you would need to slap on an AEM intake, the only intake system on the market today that has CARB legal OE #s., and put your stock emission equipments back on.

Or, just get a beater to drive around. simple as that.

Ummm not true. I just got a Jdm Oem sti intake. In 1999 subaru ( for 1 year only) had an air intake on the version 6 sti's that was 85mm. Now tell me again whats the biggest aftermarket intake that carb certified....65mm.... rite! And whats the biggest BIG MAF intake you can get...70mm. This intake not only looks totally stock( Because it is!) but i even got more power and a smoother map with it then using the injen cai. And im still using my dom3. so now i just have to deal with my exhaust issue.
