Default I need a good mechanic in SE Michigan

I recently took my 2009 WRX to the dealership because it was leaking power steering fluid. They said I need a new rack and pinion, which is not covered under the warranty and want to charge me $1500. I am looking for a second opinion. I'm new the Troy, MI area and don't know any good mechanics around here.

Thanks

Check out Oakos auto in Sterling heights for the best labor prices, they're good guys.
Speed Industry in Troy is a good Subaru Specialist too, it'll cost a bit more for work there though.
Also, what dealer did you take it to? surprised that's not warranty if you're still under warranty that is.

Good luck.

Went to Oakos. Good work and awesome customer service. Also about $200 cheaper than the dealership.
