Saw a black, latest-generation WRX sedan run through a red light at the intersection of Barrington and Irving Park. Not sure WTF this kid was doing... I was going faster than him and had no problem coming to a complete stop. At first I thought he couldn't stop, but then I noticed he wasn't even braking as he went through the intersection. No accident - traffic with the green saw him.

Ugh... Yeah, saw snow that had accumulated on the ground on my way to work this morning. I'm just hoping my 2012 gets here before the first major snowfall as I don't want to be stuck in my current RWD stopgap/tank.

I had better start making multiple threads asking other forum members which snow tires I should buy because there is simply no way to search this or any other site on the internet.

I'll answer it for you to save some time. General Altimax should fit the requirement of you 12' quite well. There are other member's who will say the same thing.

Not 2 hours after the first .001" of snow...

And then while trying to escape the traffic mess this created, I saw an old guy in a Taurus rearend a Camry.

Thanks for the suggestion! Would you go with the all-season or winter?

Ultimate Collision on Wise in Scumburg ask for Bart (he is usually in the front office)

They'll do a great job and if your paying cash give you a good deal.

Man, with the first snow I came to realize how crappy these all season tires are that came with the car. Good when dry........ I was sliding everywhere. Got some snow tires on the way.... Better late then never

did you ask for all-seasons or are you using the stock tires? The stock tires are performance summers
