what are the tq specs for these? I assume the U joint is serviceable? How much do they weigh? why should I buy this instead of an aluminum one that costs 1/2 the price?

from what i read.. both have fitment issues.. but the aluminum one you will DEFINITELY have to bang out the drive shaft tunnel.. I wouldnt like this.. i think the ACPT fits a bit better, no chasis modification involved..

The one we looked putting in my car fit without issue. Now if it were to become a little bit unbalanced it might hit. But it didnt look like to tight of a fit.

Aluminum requires definite banging with a big hammer - Carbon Fiber requires removing the the shield at the rear of the driveshaft.

It's the Group buy that is improved, not the driveshaft...

The modding for the Aluminum Driveshaft shop one your referring to is VERY minor. Like 30 seconds with a air hammer to the rear part of the tunnel minor. Its not hard or damaging. Iv'e done it twice now.

On the other hand the CF one is lighter and im assuming stronger.

Im in the market for one right now but not sure if its worth the extra coin.
