Default Belt Noise?

Hey everyone, I got an 04 wrx. Everytime when the fan kicks on, there is a slight whine noise. I'm not exactly sure if its the belt or the ac compressor but it seems to be coming from that area. The whine is very low and and this is the first time I've ever heard it. The car has about 60k now. I'm also wondering how many belts total including the timing belt. Also would anybody happen to have any recommendations for better quality belts than the stock one, something more durable but not outlandishly expensive? Thanks in advance.

1 Timing Belt

2 Accessory Belts - One for Alternator & Power Steering, Other one strictly for AC Compressor

Go with NAPA belts. I've had no problems thus far.

The whine noise might just be the added electrical load making the alternator sound different. It's quite common. Try posting a video with the sound included to get a better answer.

Just tell the guy at NAPA either the AC compressor belt and/or the alternator & power steering pump belt . Give him your car info and you're good to go.

Or use this: http://www.napaonline.com

Its only when the fan is on. The AC is not in use.
