Default TireRack question about winter tire closeout

I noticed the TireRack has winter tires marked on closeout which means limited availability. Some tires on closeout are new designs. If you purchase a set of tires on closeout and for some reason need a replacement, are you out of luck getting a new tire? The last thing I want to do is purchase a set of tires and get a sidewall puncture with only 200 miles on them and be screwed on getting a new one.

Here's what Luke told me in another thread regarding closeout tires....

Looking at what was available when I made this thread and what is available today, I'm glad I didn't buy winter tires in 215/45/17 this season.

only three different models are currently available in the 215/45-17 size

Blizzak LM25
Primacy Alpin PA3
X-Ice

you can also run a 225/45-17 on your car with no issues
