I was thinking about getting these also, and they are super cheap which makes me think they are too good to be true. i read in the interior/exterior forum a thread about how awesome they were and how great they worked on the first few pages and then the last few pages were filled with a bunch of problems with them. To the prosports credit, they seemed to be very concerned about the problem and adamant about fixing the problem/replacing the faulty units. And there were a bunch of posts about prosport fixing/replacing their gauges quickly, so that's something to consider. I'm on the fence. Anyway, try asking around in the interior/exterior modification forum. might get more first hand opinions there.

P.S. if you get them, let me know, id like to see them and see the sending units. im about 10 mins from you.

Aesthetically, Prosports are top notch! Ill caution you about the oil pressure gauge. The signal sender they use for it is less than stellar, Ive heard of multiple people having issues with it (including myself). All their other gauges are bangin though.

The reason they're cheap is that they're un-calibrated analog movements. They also have a more expensive "premium" line that actually uses a calibrated stepper motor movement. Basically, with the cheaper ones, you just have to hope the gauge is actually pointing where you think it is. In this respect, they're just like the Glowshift gauges. In fact, the only difference between the Glowshift lines and the cheap Prosport line seems to be price and customer service (Prosport is better at customer service).

What are you smoking? They look like ass!. Seriously, it amazes me how bad all the cheap gauges look. You'd think that, amortized over 100k gauges, hiring a halfway decent graphic designer would be cost-effective, but none of the gauge companies seem to do it. All the cheap gauges look just that: cheap. The most affordable gauge line with decent graphic design is the STRI X-Line. That being said, obviously this is personal taste. It's just that, having gone to university and majored in an art, this drives me nuts.
