i will aslo check on what style i will get.
With the 18x8.5 +44 Grid wheels you will not need to modify your fenders. These wheels have great fitment on the 08 model and will work well with a lowered car. Here's a customers car with the 18x8.5 +44 model and 255/35/18 Z1 Star Specs

We just sold out recently, at this time the only available colors for this model are Flat Black, Gold, Matte Steel Grey, and Royal Black. We do have more Matte Bronze on order however these are still 2 months out. PM sent!

18x8.5 Rota Grid - Gold (5x100/e44/56.1) I thought I read you dont have Matte bronze in stock at all, or do you? if not do you have gold?

Also how do these fit on a 02 WRX any modification neccesary? I have Tein Flex's so I can adjust some if need be for them.

What size tire would you recomend for a standard daily driven tire. I have some winter tires and have seperate autox rims so just need a nice daily summer rim and tire.

Matte Bronze is out of stock but more are on order, ETA is ~2 months though.

We do have Gold in stock and ready to ship as well as Matte Steel Grey, Flat Black, and Royal Black These wheels fit very well on the WRX however overall fitment will depend on your tire size and alignment settings. I recommend running a 235/40/18 for standard driving, this setup will most likely require rear fender rolling unless you have additional camber in the rear.

If you are interested in ordering a set please give me a call in the shop at 510-651-2956

I am definitely buying wheels from you guys! Just curious about the Rota DPT's in 17x9 (either offset 35 or 42)on my 08 WRX. I have BC coilovers, but unsure about fender rolling!!

This would be the second set of wheels ordered from you!
The 18x8.5 +44 Grid wheels are actually one of our lighter designs in this fitment. The wheels only weigh 20 lbs in our Subaru fitment

Available colors as of next week for 05+ STi fitment are Hyper Black, Flat Black, and Matte Bronze

I recommend P1's in 18x8 +48 fitment which is our standard Subaru fitment. This is a setup I would typically only recommend for winter use on the 08+ STi due to the narrow wheel width. For a summer setup in a similar style I would recommend the new 18" DPT wheels which we are offering in 18x8.5, 18x9, and 18x9.5 08+ STi specific fitment

These have been extremely popular and often sell out quick. We have Hyper Black and Gold arriving early next week (container is actually here in the US but needs to be unloaded following another container that arrived at the same time). Also on order is more Matte Bronze and White which we are taking pre-orders for

I highly recommend the 17x9 +42 fitment which is our Subaru specific fitment for these wheels. This fitment is great as it will allow you to run a wide tire with no fender mods (235/40/17 and most 245/40/17) or a very wide 255/40/17 with just rolled rear fenders and a bit of additional camber. All around a great performance wheel and these only weigh 18.9 lbs

Hey Suby_dude! I have an '09 WRX. Will the 17x8 +35 Torques fit using the stock 225 tire?

Also I'm struggling in finding pics of that rim setup. Do you have any?

dan,

i've narrowed my search down to something in a 17x8 - 9 wheel. i'll be on aftermarket shocks and springs on a '02 wrx. i autox about 4 times a year so need something that will perform well while being cosmetically pleasing as well.

i love the concave look and I'm willing to roll the fenders, but do not want to do camber in the rear or spend the money on coilovers. i've narrowed it down to the following...

- 17x8 boosts and i just read that you have a 35 offset? these arent listed on the website and wondered if these were still in stock in hyperblack and if you had any pics. no camber needed correct? also can these be custom ordered 8.5 or 9 wide and if so how much would that be?

- 17x9 dpt +42 these will only require rolling the rears correct?

- 17x9 torques +30 these are cosmetically my favorite wheels but it sounds like i'll need camber in the rear. with an aggressive enough roll and slightly stretched tire can i keep from putting camber in the rear?

also are there any soon to be released wheels that fit my needs? i'm willing to wait on the right wheel.

Yes the 17x8 +35 wheel will fit using the stock 225/45/17 tires I do not have installed pictures on a 2009 model however the wheel look identical to the 17x8 +48 model. There is no change in spoke design/lip size as the offset is lowered by a hub adapter.

I would highly recommend the Rota DPT 17x9 +42 for your application with a 245/40/17 tire. These wheels are very light at only 18.9 lbs and are the lightest out of the three you listed. Also the 9" wide wheel will offer a lot of sidewall support for the wide 245 tires and be a very responsive AutoX setup. You are correct with wheel/tire fitment, only rear rolled fenders are needed

The 18x9.5 +44 DPT wheels are dual drilled so they work on both 5x100 and 5x114.3
