Hey Dan,

too agro?:

17x9 +42 Matte Bronze DPT's wrapped in 265's on an 04 STi with inverted BC coilovers. Fenders are indeed rolled flat.

I know 255's will fit, but 265's may be pushing it.

What do you think? Would I have to run an aggressive camber setting? If so what would you recommend?

The 18x9.5 DPT wheels are coming in +44 and +35 fitments, the +44 fitment is ideally meant for the 08+ STi's however you can run them on earlier models with proper coilover suspension. I would typically recommend camber plates front/rear and also rear camber bolts so you can dial in positive camber and bring negative camber back with the top camber plate.

We are also releasing 18x9 +42 DPT fitment which will be the recommended street/track setup for 02-07 models, this fitment will only require rolled rear fenders and a tiny bit of camber to easily run 255/35/18 tires

Which tire are you looking to run? Not too many tires come in 265/40/17, you will have a much larger selection in 255/40/17.

I typically recommend sticking to a 255/40/17 tire as they are plenty wide for majority of street/track cars and will have a nice vertical sidewall on the 9" wide wheel. Fitment is also a breeze with completely rolled fenders and you will only need camber in the -1.5 to -1.8 range (rear).

Do you have 18x9 5x114.3 +30 G-forces in Hyper Black in stock? I've been told Rota is out with no ETA when they will be back in. If so can you PM me a price?

The DPT is exactly what I'm looking for. what offset should I go with knowing I will eventually be lowering the car half an inch ?

When will the DPT's be in stock ? Any FBRL in production ?

Thanks

The 17x8 model is 19.1 , it's just slightly heavier than the 17x9 model which is 18.9 lbs. The two models have a slightly different wheel face which accounts for the weight difference.

That is the 18x9.5 +44 model which is the recommended 08+ STi fitment for those wanting to run wide tires Overall fitment will depend on your tire choice as some tires do run wider than others, at most you will have to roll your rear fenders slightly to fit a 265/35/18 tire. With stock ride height you shouldn't have any rubbing though In 18x9.5 +44 fitment we have Flat Black, Hyper Silver, and Gold in production and these have an ETA of late April to early May. We are taking pre-orders now to reserve wheel sets

We only offer the DPT's in Flat Black for our 17x9 fitment (and soon to be released 18" fitment). For 17x8 the only colors offered are Hyper Black and Matte Bronze at this time. The 17x8 model is $750 shipped and the 17x9 model is $850 shipped. If you have any questions let me know
