Advan RS 19x9 for STI

Hi guys. I was searching all over but couldnt find any topic refering to 19 inch wheels for an STI. Sorry to bother but I needed a direct answer.
I have 06 STI stock height. Everything stock. I am planning to put Advan RS 19x9 in offset 38mm. Will it fit may car? (I dont plan to lower it) and which tyres do I use? 255/35/19??

I know of people who fit 20 inch wheels (although in a WRX) without any modifications. But I was worried about my STI.

they'll fit...you're gonna look like a monster truck with no drop though

i can understand 18x10s but why 19's????

thanks, im glad that they will fit. Drop is not an option since I dont live in US, the roads here are horrible kkkkkkkkkkk
So any decent tyre size will work too?

if the roads are horrible, why would you put 19's on the car? You're going to bend a rim.

Just get the tire size that gives stock diameter....
...and larger wheels with smaller sidewall tires means harsher ride and less give, so on harsh roads its just a stupid idea. It will suck to drive on them, they will eventually bend. Not to mention how funny it will look. You might need fender modification though.

But whatever floats your boat.

got 235/55/17 on my bbs 06 sti stock set up looks good fill the gaps nicely

^ Umm that's so oversized! And I thought people who used 245/45 were bad lol.
