Default EFI Logics EG33 Swapped GC8

First off, I'd like to say that Jack and I have worked at XX Tuning for the last 8 years, in doing so, both Jack and I left to start EFI Logics in Bethel, CT. When Jack came aboard, he brought with him his GC8 Frankenstein ST-2 Track car with him.

After loosing the stock EG33/SVX motor at Pocono North race last year due to oil starvation, the car is finally back in action. The car consists of so many one-off hand made parts, including an amazing oil pan made by "Bob The fabricator", in which he also did the head porting.

Last year, the car made 285whp and 250wtq with stock shortblock, Custom Ground WEB cams, and ported heads. This year, Jack upped the compression and cubic inches. The build includes:

2000 Subaru RS
BBS Brakes all around
JIC suspension
Custom Rear sway bar
Custom Front Sway Bar
Cage by Bob the Fabricator
Custom Dash with Autometer gauges

Engine / Management:
EG33 SVX Flat 6
Custom Ported heads
Manley Rods
Cometic Head gaskets
ARP Head studs
Custom Web cams
Supertec valvetrain w/ BMW Solid buckets
Modified Cam gears
Custom JE Hich Compression pistons - All machine work done by Larry's Automotive in Stonington, CT.
Stock Intake Manifold
Custom 8qt Baffled road race pan (Bob the Fabricator)
Meziere Electric Waterpump
Custom 1 3/4 Headers (Bob The Fabricator)
Custom Motor and Tranny mounts
Custom Air box (Bob the Fabricator)
Custom MSD Ignition
Balanced and Blueprinted STIi Injectors by Deatschwerks
Autronic SMC Engine Management tuned by EFI Logics
Autronic CDI box
Custom 5 speed gear box W/ RA Gear set and Cusco Tarmac Center diff from Fizz Autosports

There is probably more we are missing, but that is the most of it. The car was tuned today, on our Mustang Dyno, and produced a very impressive 320whp and 276wtq @ 8200rpm, SAE corrected. Dyno Graph (we are working on the bug with it going off the chart).

that is tasty. What kind of torque curve did it make? #'s are nice, but that area under the curve is what will make it scary fast on the track.

wow that is a tremendous buildup, thanks for sharing with us. i swear it would seem worth it all just for that sound....

what did you find were any major downfalls of the EG33 in a track environment, besides oiling? also, how's the car fared so far in ST-2?

Thanks ryna..This entire build was the brainchild of Jack, I had no part of it other than telling Jack that he is crazy... I tuned it, that's about it, but Jack and Bob made everything work..

This car will make your ears bleed in the dyno room.. It';s LOUD.

I'm on an extremely low BW connection right now, so can't view the video. The description of the build and the pics look awesome, though!

You mentioned you added some cubic inches - what is the engine displacing now, and how did you go about adding those inches? Is it stroked or bored and stroked? In a thread in the Built Motors forum Homemade WRX mentioned he figured one could go as big as 3.8L with an EG33.

320whp N/A with 6-cylinder torque in a stripped out GC must be an absolute blast!!

I remember somewhere he said something about it being 3.5, maybe on SVXN, maybe I'm dreaming.
