Default AutoLabo tunes the Toyota Prius

Quote:
Appearing to be coming out of a science-fiction film, the AutoLabo Prius is in fact an actual production aero kit. It is enhanced for boosting aerodynamics says AutoLabo, hence making it fuel cost-effective more than the regular Prius. Eco-tuned would be a better name for it. There is nothing much said of this vehicle on the Internet. It has somehow escaped the attention of media outlets. Eco-tuning offering by AutoLabo includes a front bumper, side skirts, rear fender skirt, rear bumper, coilover suspension and a rear carbon wing.

Wow, just yesterday as I was driving into work I wondered to myself "does anyone tune the Prius?" I guess this is my answer, albeit a hideous one.

wow, really?

you would think they could make the wheel well covers a little more integrated into the rest of the cars body... it looks like the riveted on some rubbermade garbage can lids then hit it with some white spray paint.

why no mention of the fart can?

that's the most interesting looking prius I've seen. Looks like something they would drive in Cloud City.

I was thinking they were serious about aerodynamics and increasing MPG's until I saw that gay ass burnt tip muffler

i'd like to see data actually supporting that it improves the aerodynamics...

The fit & finish on those wheel covers is kinda poor... Interesting idea, but the execution could be a little better.

Another note, Toyota actually has access to wind tunnels and designed the car to have a fairly low drag coefficient... Was this thing actually tested to make sure it doesn't interfere with existing aerodynamically designed surfaces on the car and make things worse? I bet the CD would be better without wheel well covers, but with nice smooth/flat wheels or wheel covers at all 4 corners.
