Default reuse valven stem?

I just purchased a used set of Volks that still had the red valve stem installed. Can I reuse them or pay 70 bucks for another set? thanks

metal valve stem are fine and can use reused as long as they are not damaged or leaking

You can even replace the valve cores and keep the valve stems if you're worried.

replace the valve core to play it safe. I would drop buy a tire shop and just ask a tech for four new valve cores. i wouldnt think they would charge u
