Post hello all. it's so flat out here...

hey guys, just bored and checking in.

I'm actually in Arlington Heights, Il. right now due to a family emergency.

Kinda strange being here again, this is where I lived prior till first grade.

The timing worked out really well though becuse 98mpressiveRS is coming by shortly and picking me up and there is a mini meet a 8Complex's place today.

so I get to meet yet another of the I-club legends.

of course.. I don't have any cameras on me..

but I am sure other's will.

I'll be local again tonight (late) Kris is the one that's picking me up from the airport..

thanks again.

ah well.
later guys.

Hey Man, hope things are relatively well out there. Don't worry, the only thing you are missin here is a lot more of the cold weather.

Anyway, talk to you when you get back, oh, and I have to ask you something the concerns the meet, and the party that night. later

Actually I counted at one point and there were 19 cars out there, and several more showed up later. I think this actually was the largest meet we've gotten together so far. Yeah yeah, I know you guys and your 700-million car meets and all, but finding Subaru enthusiasts in the midwest is like trying to find someone with a beefed up 5.0 Mustang in Japan... LOL

Glad you could come out James, granted it probably wasn't the ideal situation to be here, but at least you got to meet a few of the locals.

I'm considering coming out to some of your NESIC meets as they seem to be huge and there are a ton of people out there that I still haven't met. Somehow a 14 hour drive to a meet seems excessive, but you never know what you can do when you're bored.

EDIT : Ouch... to that meet next weekend is 990 miles from here, 16.75 hours! Unless a miracle comes up where all the cops are asleep for a few days, I don't think I'll make that one.

As someone from Wisconsin, I'll add my 2 cents:

Yes, KC, they generally are. Of course, it could just be the time I've spent in NH. There's a bit of a disparity in the ratio of lookers:nonlookers in NH, I've noticed.

A beefed up 5.0 Mustang in Japan isn't as hard to find as you think
