Truth in 24 *Trailer* - Film about the racing in 24 hr Le Mans

Saw this sweet trailer on a new Le Mans movie that was funded by Audi and produced by the folks over at NFL Films. It played here in LA at the AFI fest but we missed out on this. Audi is looking at getting it distributed theatrically and on TV so hopefully this will make its way to those channels.

^ Yeah, the production company actually does lots of NFL Films work too, so they do have quite a bit of background before Le Mans. According to Road & Track, they seemed to set Audi as the underdog to Peugeot.

Um, they were the under dog. They were a second per 2 miles behind the Peugeots up until the night came.

No it's not, because Ferrari were never a second and a half slower than Mclaren. Ever.

But Ferrari's been the world champion what, 6 times in the last 8 years?

Peugot was the underdog, even if they were faster. Audi had no excuse.

yeah, speed tribe is pretty dope but it's not a narrative like this one; more of a music video format putting the motorsports action to music.

Speed aired this one a few years back.

From what i know about F1 (although i know almost nothing about ALMS), i personally dont think ferrari was the underdog to mclaren this year, in any conditions, except in rain. The ferrari was faster in the straights and put less stress on the tires per lap. If it wasn't for all of their pit lane f***-ups, the championship was theirs to take home. They were too proud of their little automatic pit lane system that saved n/100 of a second per race, and that's what cost them in the end (and massa's engine failure at the end of that race which i cant remember off the top of my head)

oh...and i'm looking forward to watching this film. it looks much better than the crap F1 movie "driven" a couple years back.

I've seen the Speed Tribe on Speed and bought a copy.

I'm interested in this Truth in 24 movie. I was actually at the 24 hour this year, and want to get as much memorabilia as I can. Hopefully it'll make it to HD DVD.

According to Autoweek the movie will air on ESPN on March 20th at 8PM --- the nite before 12 Hours of Sebring. Should be terrific.
