Default grimms 44 ewg questions

Ok so i just bought the Grimmspeed 44mm ewg and I have a question. I have an 06 WRX tr with a vf39 and supporting mods with the cobb vf39 map on it. should i leave this map on the car as i drive to COBB and just run wastegate spring pressure after i install it or should i try and get a map from like clark turner so i can safely drive the car to COBB? I imagine as long as i bypass the ebcs and run it directly to the wastegate and do not get into boost i should be ok but i just wanted to confirm. Any help would be awesome! P.s. i tried to search but maybe didnt type in the correct keywords?

I had the same setup. Depending on what spring is in the wastegate. I just ran direct vacuum to the wastegate and ran the spring. I did that as a temp. fix so I could drive the car. I wouldn't do it for a permanent thing.

Just stay out of boost. Keep your foot out of it and you'll be fine.

Run a line from the bottom port on the gate to the compressor direct. This will limit boost to around 10 psi and you will be fine. Dont run a line on the top of the gate. THen, When you get to your tuner, you can hook it up correctly.

You live 6 inches from your tuner and you come here to ask tuning questions? Seriously? Think that line of logic through next time.
