This is the wrong forum for this, and you should have contacted Luke directly at Tire Rack for NASIOC orders.

I was not informed that the wrong wheels had casings at the first e-mail. If I did not call she would have not replied in any way.

Since TireRack pays for the existence of this forum, I'll be very interested to see if this gets censored. It'll say a lot about wither NASIOC belongs to the users or the vendors.

That being said, why didn't you post this in the vendor reviews forum where it, you know, actually belongs?

Sucks. You should have contacted Luke.

Hopefully you'll get your money back ASAP. It's ridiculous that they are holding your money because of something they screwed up. Sounds like you just had crap luck on this one (been there).

This really sucks. I dont usually go with Tirerack because their pricing is not competative at all. I surf their web site occasionally to see what they have on clearance. And sometimes you can find a great deal. I just purchased a set of Michelin snow tires for pennies from Tirerack last week. I wasnt aware that their customer support sucks. Keep us posted.

p.s. Come to think of it, the guy that took my order was a douche bag over the phone, but atleast he got my order correct.

When I've ordered it took a while for them to respond back via email.

However, the first time I ordered I got the tires the next day. As in I ordered Monday and received Tuesday. Second time I got them the 2nd day as in I ordered Monday and got them Wednesday. Extremely fast in my opinion. This is from Del. to NJ though.

Good luck, hope it gets resolved.

ok ... now I have full story.

yes, The Tire Rack shipping department did, in error, ship two incorrect wheels to Guam in addition to two of the correct wheels.

several e-mails that are claimed to have gone unanswered were sent at a time when the person they were sent to was not in the office. Time off is reasonable and acceptable in my opinion.

Phone calls were made and while understandably upset, and rightfully so, cooperation and understanding would have been a more prudent approach as we were trying to correct the situation.

The first package was refused in error as it was the package with the correct wheels. A request was made to cancel the re-shipment of the replacement product and refund the cost of the purchase immediately. Now, the way things have been portrayed so, far is "the product has not been delivered and was sent back to The Tire Rack so, refund the money!" story over ... right?

not quite

I am being informed this morning that Solo went back to the post office and was able to rescind that "refusal of delivery" and pick up the two correct wheels as Meghan had asked in one of her e-mails, which is a good thing. Had this been done, as requested in the e-mail on December 1st, we could have easily sent 2 additional wheels via USPS which would have already arrived. As it stands right now two wheels have been recieved and the shipment of the two additional wheels is being addressed this morning. Had the money been refunded on Saturday as requested where would things stand ?

the manner in which this was handled by The Tire rack and its staff was nowhere near what has been portrayed in the original post. From the internal information I have read we were not rude, condscending or unproffessional in any of the calls or correspondence. I know the OP wanted/needed the new wheels and had a dead line but, at times, we do need some patience and cooperation. We knew we made an error and were doing everything possible to correct that error. While it was taking longer than normal do to location (Guam is not right around the corner) it was in the process of being corrected. No person or company is perfect and while we attempt to get everything correct, errors are occassionally made and we correct them as fast as we possibly can.

with that said I would like to offer our apologies for the error and if things still haven't been resolved in a manner which you see fit feel free to contact me directly.
