Default Rumor Mill is officially open...Kumho's new test facility

First off the facts:

Kumho tires is building a new plant just outside Macon, GA. They will be building 3 different testing surfaces. Black Lake (Michelin Tire Proving Grounds) will be desolate in comparison if the below is true.

Now the rumors:

1. 1500'x1500' concrete pad, 1500'x1500' asphalt pad and a 2 mile test track.
2. The SCCA national office has already begun its initial contacting of the owners of the facility.

The above rumors were heard by me, from a 3rd party whos source is very credible for the MidGA area. (I would love to state who, but he should stay anonymous for now.)

Let the rumors circulate...

Sweet! Just what I need for next year. Now if only they'll make an A6-beating tire.

I just went out and made sweet, beautiful love to an unmounted Kumho.

If this isn't real, I am going to come down and hurt you Phil.

The factory is DEFINITELY getting built. The rumor is the test facility adjacent to it. Kumho has already broken ground on the factory.

Now if they could come out with a tire that is using technology from the last 5 years, we'd be good to go!

Right now, the A6 and the R6 from Hoosier just beat up on the poor V710.

+1 Quoted for truth! Isley whipped all our butts this past September.

P.S. Facility sounds awesome. I'd definitely make the drive from VA to attend a NT/Pro there.

If only that were true... But somehow I doubt I am 20% faster than Braun, Thompson, Harvey, Goeke, etc. I know I can hit 20% less cones than Tovsen.
