Default Subaru inspired rotated mount setup

Well, a few weeks ago my buddy Ed (turbowrx32) posted up his borg warner rotated setup that we fabricated. well, finally got my motor back and was inspired to try something new. so decided to go ahead and do one on my vw. let me know what you think. i know its not subaru but just wanted to post up in a forum which helped my inspiration. thanks

still have to add in wastegate provisions.

What would make that a rotated mount? There really is no other way to mount it.

Sch. is the pipe wall thickness, Sch. 80 being twice as thick(nominal) than Sch. 40. It has nothting to do with the material used be it stainless or carbon steel.

actually you might be surprised how inexpensive sch10/40 304ss weld els are. I can make something out of stainless sch10/40 for the same price of using regular 16g tubing and mandrels

Really? Barring the fact you use more filler/gas on thicker material, but material wise they're that close?
