To really see if it is amazing, try doing a used oil analysis.

If you want the best, go with a Dyson Analysis.

All my previous oil use was tested with blackstone on my old 02 wrx that used silkolene, had excellent results.

I just switched using regular oil to synthetic silkolene on the STI.
As soon as the oil is ready to be changed, I will be sending it out to blackstone and will post a copy of the report.

My STI has very low miles, still very new.

I run silkolene in my dirtbike(10W-40, Pro-4sx). Its 12 bucks a quart.
Never had a problem with it.
I dont see it being a problem in a car.

and I dont know what you mean by "its very hard to get in the states" but its easy to get for me, I know the 4 motorcycle shops around here all carry a full line of silkolene(4 shops with in 30 miles)
