Wear metals look good for the mileage. Subes are usually slow to break in and I think you should see a drop in metals next uoa. I'm shocked at the viscosity though. Even with high fuel dilution in my FXT and 8k oci's, GC never got as thin as your eneos. Maybe it's from the wear-in.

I wouldn't run it again if the viscosity didn't remain a 40 grade in the next uoa. I just like oils that remain in the grade stated on the bottle.

What are your driving conditions?

He also ran Pennzoil Plat. 5w30 from ~3K-7K. 65% city 35% highway. He now runs Amsoil Euro 5w40. I kinda figured from reading other uoa that Eneos is too hyped, just like most "jdm" products.

I would be curious to see the Amsoil Euro 5W-40. It's actually on the low end of being a 40 grade oil. I'm currently running Amsoil SSO 0W-30 and might run one of their 40 grades next for comparison.
