You can still run an electric fan on the front of the rad, it's just less effective.

Yup, lots of room in front for a fan

I'm trying to spend LESS time ****ing around doing nothing and more time working on the car, or at least sitting in the shop and staring at it

so you're doing a tube frame front end? should be pretty sweet! Getting the tubs to go lower? How much more clearance did you get with those?

Very excited for this.

The tubs are going in because basically now is the time to do it. I don't REALLY need them right now, but if I decide to go with a wider tire I will need them, and seeing as I'm stripping everything out now... :P

Plan is to have the engine bay metal work done by the end of the month, we'll see how that goes though. I'm not going to rush it even if I am running out of time.

Need to buy more grinding discs. I suck at welding

thats actually a 'small' turbo, it's a TD06-20G. Going to run it until I can afford to pick up the GT4094R I want.

I'm watching... Can you actually fit an intake for the turbo under that intake manifold?

And why do you want such a large turbo? a gt35 could get you to 700hp or more... What is your power goals? I doubt the stock pistons can handle that anyway. You've got something more tricky up your sleeve... I know it!

gt35 won't do 700hp on pump gas

I'm ordering my forged pistons on my next paycheque

And yes, there's quite a bit of room for an under-manifold intake on the eg33, but I've never run an intake before so I dunno if I'll start now

haha is your goal actually 700whp?! I thought you wanted something more reliable...

Honestly with 3.4L backing it up, 700whp shouldn't be too bad. That's just over 100whp per jug, and there are plenty of daily driven STIs hitting that.

I'm running STI rods and wiseco pistons, 8.5:1 compression ratio. Front mount and water injection. Possibly closing the deck on the eg33, I have to find someone to talk to about my plan for that though.

I've made up my mind to run it on the 20G for the first year, and move up to the GT40 next year. Next winter's project. The 20G should give me a super hard hitting 400whp on the 3.4L

A gtx3582 should be prefect for your numbers and spool faster than a gt40

How do you figure?

The compressor is way out of its efficiency range by 70lb/min flow, never even gets to 80
