Default Why do people talk bad about Rota?

Just curious...? I am considering rota wheels for my 2008 black sti and people that I have talked to say that rota blows and always break. I am just curious...I like the look of them and they are a great price. You see so many really nice cars with rotas on them, yet people still bash them. I don't wanna spend $3000 on rims....and rota seems like a good option.

what gives?

joe

They talk bad about Rota because they don't have the common sense to understand how wheels fail in general (forged, cast, etc...) and many don't like Rota because they aren't a super duper special uber sweet uber cool brand name.

In other words...people who don't like Rota are misinformed and label whores (not always both though ).
