2.2L single port borla's possibility...

okay well the past few days ive been talking to a rep from borla about them bringing back the 2.2L single port header, the reason the discontinued them, what is suppose to happen if we actually get a new set from secrect sales stash somewhere and there is a possibility we can get the deal going again.

the deal is we are going to need at least 25 people to get this going and the price is going to $593.99 + shipping . we would need to have 1 single order for them to get them going on it.

im just relaying the info ive recieved so let me know what you guys think. personally i think the price is a bit much but if we were to get more people together i think we could get the price cut.

does anyone work/ own for one of the site's vendors that might be willing to get the deal going?

I hope they have resolved the borla header cracking issue. I have the latest version on my Outback Sport and that is the reason I have left the car sitting for several months (Laziness to get it welded or return it to stock is another).

Are you serious? $600 for a damn header? Swapping to dual port heads would be cheaper, even if you had someone do it for you.

Save yourself a good amount of money; go to the junkyard and buy a set of EJ22 dual port heads for $40-$50 and have them rebuilt(if your worried) TIP: look for motors that have an intact timing belt.

And while your at it, buy some delta cams and toss those babies in there.

Then you can buy the header of your choice.

You could probably get a custom set welded up for less than that...
