Default NEW Grimmspeed 44mm EWG kits In Stock!!!

Yes, thats right..its here!! GrimmSpeed introduces the External Wastegate Up Pipe with 44mm V-Band flange.

WHY DO YOU NEED IT?
Reason for switching to an EWG setup includes:
Quicker turbo spool by allowing the exhaust gas to exit pre-turbo. There is alot of turbulence in the stock turbo at the internal wastegate so by moving the wastegate out of the turbo you get rid of this nasty turbulence thus improving the effiecency of the turbo as well.
More efficient wastegate design that has a bigger diameter than stock allowing for the exhaust gas to be released quicker.
Hold peak boost longer. This allows you to run a lower peak boost and increase HP at the same time.
Much larger than the stock internal wastegate
No more boost creep...EVER!

PACKAGE CONTENTS
44mm Tial Wastegate
44mm V-Band EWG Up Pipe
Dump Tube
Bracket
5 Studs for Up Pipe

We have a few in stock right now so place your orders! We also have many many other Grimmspeed products in stock and more gaskets. PM for more info and pricing.

Current Pricing for the kit is $620.00

Do you recommend the 44 or the 38 for an FP Green? Can you get the wastegate for a bundle package?

I read somewhere that anything under a 20g ur better off with the 38 and anything bigger than a 20g go with the 44....
I'm sticking with the vf-39 so i'm gonna go with the 38 as soon as i add up the money.

Forgot to mention, any idea on the availability of the 3 bolt flange for the GT Spec header? I know Grimmspeed was working on it.

Nope. Looking for the external wastegate uppipe with that 3 bolt flange on it. I've already got the header installed and don't want to go back to the stock manifold when I add the external wastegate.

Hey Shawn - I inquired about it again to get the status, I'll let you know when I know.

Overall the larger the vent pre-turbo the better. However looking at the physics behind the operation. For a smaller turbo the 44 can release backpressure faster making operating at target boost easier. For a larger turbo getting rid of the exhaust gases faster isn't necessarily as important since its less likely that its going to spike.

It is, mainly because it will increase spool and prevents overboost/boost creep.
