Default 245/40/17 fit on a 9.5 rim?

just looking for a quick answer. will some 245/40/17 fit on a 17x9.5 rim? i know they are going to be stretch out , but just looking to see if they will be same mounted on the wheels. thanks

245 will still fit on a 9.5" rim.
i seen some people even put 235 on 9.5"
the lowest i seen for 245 is on a 8" rim
but 265 would be perfect for a 9.5" though
tires are expensive in that size though lol

yeah some people love that stretch tire look
lol i even seen some people put a 205 on a 8" rim

what kind of rims are you running if i may ask?

are you planning to or already have rolled your front/rear fenders ?
because once you go over the 235 mark you might rub a little .

Will fit quite easily and will be better for daily driving than say a 265... at least for gas mileage and such.

for future reference, you can look on the tire mfg's website. it'll tell you the recommended wheel size for any give tire size. for stretched or stuffed fitments, you're on your own (or try the motorsports forum).
