Default SoCal BMX riders!! Recommend me a freestyle bike for my 10 year old!!

Are Haro, Redline, GT, and Specialized the "IN" bikes still? Budget is around $300.

TIA!

fit and S&M are both great quality american made bikes... but IMO its a bit much for a 10yr old.

My bro just finished doing a bike check for transwold on a redline complete, and said that they are pretty good for the price.
