Anyone know where to get taillight overlays installed in CT/NY?
Preferably around Norwalk or Westchester. Thanks!

99% of tint guys will do the over lays. Dpending on what type your looking at. theres sticky ones and theres shrinking ones. I did my friends with a hairdryer, my heat gun was too much.
if your confident do it yourself and save $90 |

Yes they're illegal but **** it. My lights are blacked out. I've been towed once since I had them. Other then that most cops don't care. At least in my area.

99% of car mods are a no no. If you drive a nice car you should be able to afford the 35 dollar tail tint ticket lol or fight it in court and it will probably get dropped.

Im not a fan of blacked out tail lights. they may "look cool" but its a serious safety hazard on a sunny day and it effects rear blinkers from being visible. Some of my friends blacked their tail lights out and as soon as they were rear-ended it changed their tune of how cool they looked.

Well I already have them. They are precut vinyls. No way I would smoke my tails. I do not have the patience or balls to do shrink/stretch them myself.
Edit: forgot to mention that none of the tint guys want to work with vinyl. |

Go To AutoZone -> VHT NiteShades + Clear Coat + Blue Painter's Tape + Two Pizza Boxes + Sandpaper (fine grain) = Amazing Looking Tail Lights

Nightshades is what I used. 1 coat - ***** ****. Why even bother? 2 coats - what most people use and it looks good. 3 coats - what I have. To dark haha but I have a 3rd light un shaded so I don't get hassled to much. 4 coats - might as well use plasti dip. Lol |

Again, I have the precut vinyl overlays. Never mind though. I guess no one has anything to offer.

You wont find one. When i searched in CT no tint guys would touch it. If you bring it to them they dont like the idea they have one shot to put it on. Plus they dont have experience doing it. Ive only seen places that paint them. Those companies will be at wicked big meet.
