Heidi Hunt took care of everything for me. Great experience. Went from Speeding in a School zone (it's only a school zone for less than 30 minutes per day, who knew....) to expired tags. $300 and not a penny more spent.

Do not use ANDREW PHIPPS!!!

He couldn't get my 88 in a 70 dropped out in Upper Kititas. He paid the ticket out of courtesy but I pissed away the other $240 for nothing.

I have used Jeannie P. Mucklestone in the past and had the ticket dropped by way of deferral (68 in 45...easy to do on a motorcycle). And just recently was cited with a ticket in Lynnwood. This recent ticket I have gone with Heidi Hunt simply because the best I can hope for is a SOC (Stipulated Order of Continuance). I have already used my deferral on the motorcycle ticket so that was not an option (1 deferral for every 7 years clean record). The SOC is only available to those who are represented by an attorney. It is very similar to a deferral (pretty much works the same way) and still allows the City to make money. The motorcycle officer was pretty relaxed about the ticket.

My experience with Heidiís office so far has been going well.

Timmothy Coogan. Hes based out of kent, you can google his name and his contact info will come up.

I used him once, and the day of court ended up he wasnt avail so he sent an assistant to represent me. Since he wasnt available he dropped the fees, and the assistant got my ticket knocked down to "inattentive driving" (i made an improper left turn into the far lane), paid $100 to the court that day, and it never went on my record.

Can the OP update the original post with all of the recommendations; possibly with links to all the post stalking about that specific lawyer?

i think there should be some clarification here, regarding 'successful' cases. because when i see/hear the word DISMISS, i think thats exactly what it should be. not reduced to a lower fine, or something that wont go on my driving record. deferred means the same to me as dismissed, fwiw.

my reference for this animosity is the overpopular Jeanie Mucklestone. im starting to think she is too well known, and thus less successful at getting things dismissed completely. or she has such a rapport with judges that she thinks she doesnt have to work as hard to get rid of the tickets.

Default "Success" is all relevant...

and depends upon each client's specific circumstance. A dismissal (meaning just goes away) is ALWAYS a win and what we always work for. Usually, we can get a ticket dismissed outright if you have been cited by a WSP or Sheriff because those officers are sloppy and know that 9 out of 10 tickets aren't even contested. If you have been cited by a city officer then it is harder to get a ticket dismissed outright because that is how the city funds lots of stuff so the officers, prosecutors, and judges have "fine-tuned" their system. In those courts our office is faced with several choices if we can't get an outright dismissal and which one is best varies with each person. A Deferred is a dismissal with conditions and everyone gets one if they qualify. If you know you want a deferred and quailfy it is something very easy to do yourself. An SOC is where a lawyer essentially buys you a dismissal, also with some conditions attached. An admendment to a non-moving violation means that the driver's insurance should not be hurt (but remember that your deal with the insurance company is a private contract that they can negotiate/change at any time for any reason- like they don't like the color of your car). So "success" depends upon the individual. If you know you are going to speed again in the next year, or have an intermediate teen driver, or some school zone type case an amendment to a nonmoving violation like a seatbelt ticket is good because it should not raise your insurance and there are no conditions, i.e. you are free to speed If you think you can meet the conditions of a deferred then it will mean an eventual dismissal of your case. The same goes for an SOC. I hope this answers your question.

REMEMBER, we always work for an outright dismissal first.

The two times I've been cited by Bellingham PD were both dismissed. The three tickets (2 moving, 1 non) that went on my record were WSP and 2x county mountie. For the record, those three weren't contested, I just paid them.

I'm dying to know what Lustick did to get my Neg2 dismissed within what was it, 10 days of me getting cited. It was something so blatantly obvious to his assistant that she told him to drop what he was doing and meet with me as a walk-in with no appointment. I think it had something to do with the copy I was given being green.

If you would like to do all of the legwork, compile the list, and chase down links for everyone, I would be happy to copy/paste your work into the OP.

Default "Success" defined...

We contest over 1000 tickets a year. My post said "usually" that is how it works and that each court is different. If you'd like to sit down with one of my lawyers and see the breakdown, I'd be happy to arrange that. Certainly there are plenty of cities throughout Washington that make a traffic ticket their lowest priority (AS THEY SHOULD), but there are MANY that don't. Some examples are Lynnwood Municipal, Everett Municipal, Bothell Municipal...Does that mean that we can't get a ticket dismissed there? Certainly not, we have gotten tickets dismissed in each of those courts. Does it mean our job is harder because it is in a Municipal Court? Many times yes, because the actors throughout that system tend to dot their i's and cross their t's. The ultimate point I was trying to make for the gentleman that asked was that each case is different. Anyone that tells you otherwise has not handled 100s of tickets in dozens of courts. Based upon the response about my office on this list and our return clients and the testimonials that our clients write us and our dismissal rate I feel pretty good sticking to my original answer.

It is for this reason that I usually don't answer these questions, because they are too general. For correct legal advice you need a specific set of facts, not several what ifs. I'll decline further comment. If you'd like specific answers set up a free consulation and a lawyer will help you out.

^^Agreed. If you are going to be doing that, than by all means post you and your friends license plates numbers so that we can avoid you guys. It's not cool, it's not right, and it's plain stupid...and I've done plenty of stupid things.

Better yet, get a gun and shoot some random person you don't know for no reason, and then yourself in the gut. It's quicker and less painful than what will happen if you cause a serious wreck while drunk.

Subaru Stars Consolidated Roster of Attorneys

Here's a list of all the attorneys that have been listed so far in this threa. I did not go as far as to link to every post talking about them; however, this should make it easier to index them. I excluded any posts that did not include enough information on contacting the attorney. Hope this helps!

I hired Rick Merril for a ticket I got at the Lynnwood court and he got it reduced to a non moving vilation, but I still had to pay the fine.

Better than having a +10 mph speeding ticket on my record for the next three years.
