the intake and turbo inlet arent really necessary...but by opening up the intake path you'll pick up some spool and some hp.

vf turbos are all pretty similar in size and power output. i'd say vf43 + tmic + meth....that will be the same price and get you more power than vf43+turbo inlet+intake+tmic

well not much is gonna not you a lot of hp/$$ on the td04....as you can see by your boost plot the td04 is dead above 4500rpm on the 2.5L.

the only way to get a significant power increase up there is to get a bigger turbo so you can hold boost.

my suggestion to everyone with a 2.5L is to go straight to a 20g or a Green....just really depends on what you want out of the car. your car would probably run forever on a vf turbo....but going to a 20g or a green your motor and tranny are gonna become questionable. So thats something to keep in mind. Power is addicting.....so the reason i suggest going straight to the 20g is because its cheaper in the long run than taking smaller steps through the upgrade path.

Thank you very much for the info, Im not really looking to go that big ever,
but i have had taste of the forbidden fruit and i like it

so here is my dilemma at the moment i love the feel of stage 2 its great over stock, yet im not looking to go into engine and tranny work, so a vf39 or vf43 i think will fulfill my need for power.

the td04 has a hard time holding boost up top, even with high boost levels this turbo will spool fast but then still drop off.

Jon had it up at 18.5 psi and dropped it down becasue the summers in so cal get hot!

Nice job on the tune... despite you having a freak car. I just ran my car at SP Engineering on their Mustang Dyno and I came out with 225/281. My big problem is there was light black smoke and lines looking like a mountain range... definately not smooth at all. I am on a Stage 2 Cobb OTS map...time to come see HB.

Mods are only Titek Catless DP, Greddy SP2, and AP v.1

so youlll be around those #
unless you are a lucky man like myself and have da freak!

when i was there i was talking about base maps and he said most maps that people come in with are scary to even get a baseline off of them.

Even the Cobb OTS 91 octane maps dont like 91 octane.

I was playing with my old room mates a couple weeks ago and he had -4 to -6* of FBKC from 4000rpm all the way to redline on his cobb OTS map.
